Disney Academy is a safe, nurturing and fun-filled early childhood development centre in the heart of Lyttelton, Centurion.
We care for children from three months right through to Grade R, in small classes with age-appropriate teacher-to-child ratios and separate facilities for our babies and toddlers. Our approach is holistic: expose children to different environments and varied experiences, and they begin to understand both themselves and the world around them.
We are a growing school with a second branch in the surrounding area — but each one stays deliberately small, because being properly known by your teacher matters more than anything else.

Our journey
From 2024 to today
Disney Academy opens
We open our doors on Monument Road in Lyttelton with a small group of families and a very big idea — a preschool that feels like a second home.
Growing by word of mouth
Families tell their neighbours. We add classes, welcome our first full intake and start our first year-end concert.
A second branch
Demand grows and a second branch opens in the surrounding area, sharing the same values and the same standards.

We maintain an open-door policy and actively encourage parents and guardians to communicate openly with management about anything at all.
Questions, concerns or support — we believe a strong partnership between home and school is what really drives each child's success and wellbeing. You will never be made to feel like you are interrupting.
